Employees must receive their itemised payslips with the payment of their salaries or within 3 working days of payment. Employees who have been terminated should also receive the payslip together with their outstanding salaries.<\/p><p>For employees who are paid more than once a month, their payslips can be consolidated but must contain the following:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Full name of employer.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Full name of the employee.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Date of payment (If the pay slips consolidate multiple payments, all dates should be listed).<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Basic salary<\/strong><br \/>For hourly, daily or piece-rated workers, indicate all of the following:<br \/><ul class=\"nested-list\"><li>Basic rate of pay, e.g. $10 per hour.<\/li><li>Total number of hours or days worked or pieces produced.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Start and end date of salary period.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Allowances paid for salary period, such as:<\/strong><br \/><ul class=\"nested-list\"><li>All fixed allowances, e.g. transport.<\/li><li>All ad-hoc allowances, e.g. one-off uniform allowance.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Any other additional payment for each salary period, such as:<\/strong><br \/><ul class=\"nested-list\"><li>Bonuses<\/li><li>Rest day pay<\/li><li>Public holiday pay<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Deductions made for each salary period, such as:<\/strong><br \/><ul class=\"nested-list\"><li>All fixed deductions (e.g. employee\u2019s CPF contribution).<\/li><li>All ad-hoc deductions (e.g. deductions for no-pay leave, absence from work).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Overtime hours worked.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Overtime pay.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Start and end date of overtime payment period (if different from start and end date of salary period).<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Net salary paid in total.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c57d9c9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c57d9c9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Payslips can be in soft or hard copy (including handwritten ones), and employers must keep records of all payslips issued. Companies must maintain payment records for the latest 2 years for current and ex-employees. For ex-employees, payment records must be kept for one year after the employees left the company.<\/p><p>Payslip templates can be downloaded from Ministry of Manpower\u2019s (MOM) website.
